Who I Am

My name is Erin Morelli and I am a Software Engineer residing in the greater Boston, MA area. I graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in 2011 with a bachelor's degree (BS) in electronic media, arts, and communication, focusing on interaction design, and a co-terminal master's degree (MS) in human-computer interaction. I've been working as a full-time developer since then. I moved to the Boston area in 2013 and work locally as a full-time Software Engineer.

When I'm not working I enjoy cooking, biking, reading a good book, as well as watching and avidly tweeting about TV.

I also run Hot Wings Homebrew, my one-woman homebrewing operation, where I create and brew many varieties of beer out of my home.

What I Do

I am a highly proficient developer, with experience in Ruby, Python, Perl, and PHP. I have a passion for creating simple, clean user experiences, and especially love minimalist, responsive designs. This site was created with Vue.js in the frontend and Python + Flask in the backend. Additionally, I have experience with:
